Catch-Up & Clean-Up - Side Quests
Lost Ledger Recovery Side Quest:
You are a merchant in Blackford, but something has gone wrong. Somewhere between the market stalls and the counting room, your ledger has slipped into the shadows. The books have fallen behind and the records have slipped out of alignment. Now you must recover your ledger and appease the Guild.
The win condition: With the help of your goblin clerk, you must appease the Guild with a caught-up ledger. (QuickBooks fully recovered)
Vault Restoration Side Quest:
You are a merchant in Blackford, but something has gone wrong. A scourge of ROUS vault rats slipped into the counting room and tore through your vault, leaving your ledger in pieces. Now you must restore the vault and prove to the Guild that your vault still stands.
The win condition: With the help of your goblin clerk, you must appease the Guild with a restored ledger. (QuickBooks fully restored)
REWARDS: When you complete an eligible Side Quest, the Guild will celebrate your victory with a congratulatory message and 10 percent off your first month at any Monthly Vault Stewardship level.
Eligible Side Quests include QuickBooks Startup, Migration, or Optimization and eligible Catch Up or Clean Up projects.
Each eligible Side Quest may earn one Monthly Stewardship reward. The reward applies only to the client’s first month under a new Monthly Vault Stewardship engagement.
REWARDS DON’T STACK! Only one reward may be applied to a purchase. If more than one reward is available, the reward with the highest value will be used.
Which Restoration Quest Do You Need?
Not every troubled ledger has suffered the same fate. A busy merchant may leave the records unfinished while keeping the shop alive. Another ledger may contain plenty of transactions but no longer tell a story anyone can trust.
Lost Ledger Recovery:
Choose Catch-Up when parts of the financial story are missing. The books may not be damaged. The work simply stopped before every chapter was complete. I return to the last reliable month and work forward until the agreed records are current.
Vault Restoration:
Choose Clean-Up when the records exist but the vault rats have left chaos behind. I investigate the areas included in your quote. I then correct what the available records support.
Anything that remains unresolved is documented. Answers may be needed from you or your tax professional. Another keeper of the records may also need to help. Before the quest begins, I review the condition of the books and help determine which restoration path fits.
There is no judgment about how the ledger reached the ruins. What matters is finding a clear way back out.
