QuickBooks Configuration - Side Quests

You are a merchant in Blackford. You just joined the Guild, and they gave you an arcane counting device from the capital. Its ledgers promise power, but nothing is where you expect it to be. Now you must bring this strange machine under your command before the Guild notices.

The win condition: With the help of your goblin clerk, your ledger is fully configured. (QuickBooks is configured)

REWARDS: When you complete an eligible Side Quest, the Guild will celebrate your victory with a congratulatory message and 10 percent off your first month at any Monthly Vault Stewardship level.

  • Eligible Side Quests include QuickBooks Startup, Migration, or Optimization and eligible Catch Up or Clean Up projects.

  • Each eligible Side Quest may earn one Monthly Stewardship reward. The reward applies only to the client’s first month under a new Monthly Vault Stewardship engagement.

REWARDS DON’T STACK! Only one reward may be applied to a purchase. If more than one reward is available, the reward with the highest value will be used.

Choose Your Configuration Side Quest:

Not every arcane counting device arrives in the same condition. A new merchant may need their first ledger built from the ground up. An established merchant may be carrying records across the realm from another system. Years of changes can also leave a QuickBooks file cluttered or difficult to trust.

QuickBooks Startup Side Quest:

This path is for merchants opening their first ledger. I build the basic QuickBooks structure around the way your business works. This creates a sound foundation from the beginning.

QuickBooks Migration Side Quest:

This path is for merchants carrying their books into a new realm. I prepare the QuickBooks file and move the records included in your quote. I then review the results for basic bookkeeping consistency.

QuickBooks Optimization Side Quest:

This path is for merchants whose counting device has become unruly. I review the current setup and improve the agreed accounts. I also review the settings and workflows. This makes the system easier to use and maintain.

Every path leads toward the same goal. QuickBooks should support the business you are building. It should not become another creature guarding the vault.

One-time services are custom quoted based on the requested scope, transaction volume, number of accounts, condition of the records, systems involved, and availability of supporting documents. Projects quoted at $2,500 or more require a 50% deposit before work is scheduled. Materially different file conditions or additional requested work require a written change order.
